On 10 February 2026, the Nookat District hosted the district-level business forum “Uluttuk Dem – Global Heights”, which served as a practical dialogue platform between government, business and society. The forum brought together 52 participants, including 28 women – entrepreneurs, representatives of the banking sector, local self-government bodies, civil society organizations, youth, and vulnerable population groups.

Within the framework of the EGED Programme, the Development Policy Institute (DPI) is implementing a series of financial literacy seminars in rural municipalities of Kyrgyzstan in January-February 2026. The initiative addresses one of the key barriers to local economic development – the low level of financial literacy among rural populations.

On 14 January 2026, a set of activities was implemented under the Socio-Economic Development Programme (SEDP) of At-Bashy district, aimed at improving tourism infrastructure, enhancing service quality and promoting local businesses.
