The key outcome of the forum was the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Nookat District Entrepreneurs Association, Aiyl Bank OJSC and Eldik Bank OJSC. The memorandum aims to support the financing of business projects, promote youth and vulnerable entrepreneurs, and enhance financial literacy among the population.
Deputy Head of the Nookat District State Administration Nuraiym Atakanova noted that the forum is an important tool for implementing the national development strategy at the local level: “Economic development of the district is impossible without supporting entrepreneurship, attracting investment and engaging vulnerable groups. Today’s forum has shown that Nookat has real initiatives and committed people ready to contribute to the district’s development”.
The forum showcased successful practices of social and creative entrepreneurship, including the production of national musical instruments, handicraft master classes, sewing and confectionery workshops, as well as projects in tourism and service sectors. These initiatives demonstrated the potential of integrating culture, business and tourism as key drivers of sustainable development.
Chairperson of the Nookat District Entrepreneurs Association Sairagul Israilova emphasized the practical importance of the agreements reached: “The memorandum with the banks is a real step toward ensuring that entrepreneurs – especially women and youth – gain access to financing and are able to launch and expand their businesses”.
The forum also resulted in decisions to hold dialogue platforms on a regular basis, expand cooperation with financial institutions, and strengthen support for women’s, youth and inclusive entrepreneurship. The forum’s participants confirmed that effective cooperation between government, business and society creates a solid foundation for economic growth, job creation and increased investment attractiveness of the Nookat District.
