The trainings on certain issues of municipal management were conducted

On February 8 and 9, 2022, in the city of Toktogul, Jalal-Abad region, a training was organized for representatives of local self-government bodies of Zhany-Zholsky and A. Suerkulovsky aiyl aimaks, with the participation of representatives of the Water Users Association (WUA), rural public associations of drinking water consumers (CDWUU) and Zhayyt committees.

The purpose of the training was to increase the knowledge of individual employees of partner LSGs on the issues of interaction between aiyl okmotus and various local service providers for WUAs, CDWUUs, pasture user associations, and management of municipal property.

During the training, the participants considered such issues as: the role of LSG bodies in matters of interaction with WUAs, CDWUUs, pasture users associations, procedures for holding competitions for the selection of service providers, as well as contractual relations between LSG bodies and private service providers. The training was also devoted to informing about the main legal aspects of municipal property management, the use of municipal property for the economic development of the area. Together with the participants, issues of operation and maintenance of municipal property, maintaining a register of municipal property were considered.

To consolidate the acquired knowledge and skills at the end of the training, practical exercises were conducted to prepare the conditions for the transfer of municipal property for use.
