Description of Project: 

• National Human Development Report on LSG (NHDR) is a large scale research of the history, status and perspectives of the local self-governance development, including public opinion poll, focus groups, and round tables. 
   

Description of actual services provided by your staff within the assignment:

• After conducting public opinion poll, focus groups, round tables NHDR was drafted and related products were created such as articles, databases, National Strategy on Local self-government development, Future vision of LSG up to 2020 and up to 2030. During development of the NHDR several legislative and conceptual initiatives were provided, for the first time phases and logic of LSG development in the Kyrgyz Republic was described. NHDR was approved by the Supervisory Board (Chairman – Head of the Presidential Apparatus and Plenipotentiary representative of UN in the Kyrgyz Republic). Presently NHDR is translated into Kyrgyz and English languages and will be published.
